Background in Physical Therapy

I am a licensed Physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in hospital, clinic, and home-health settings, both locally and abroad. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institute.

I specialize in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric conditions, delivering individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s needs. My clinical expertise includes manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, hydrotherapy, dry and electro-needling, and advanced electro-physical modalities such as Tecar, Shockwave, and Laser therapy.

I adopt a patient-centered and evidence-based approach, combining hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation and patient education to promote long-term recovery and functional independence. Known for my strong communication skills and collaborative mindset; I work closely with patients and healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and goal-oriented care across all age groups.

What are your interests

I have a strong passion for continuous learning, believing that growth comes from both reading and real-life experience. I value understanding topics beyond my immediate field and strive to be someone who can engage in meaningful conversations, share knowledge, and learn from others. I enjoy reading as a way to broaden perspective and avoid remaining unfamiliar with things I have yet to encounter.

Tell us about a life-changing experience or adventure you’ve been on

Working abroad is one of the most life-changing experiences I have had. I left not fully knowing what to expect or what challenges I would face, and that uncertainty truly shook me to my core. It was a mix of fear and excitement, stepping into something unfamiliar while trusting myself enough to move forward.

Living and working in a different country taught me independence in ways I never imagined. I learned to embrace new experiences, adapt to different cultures, and push through language barriers. Professionally, it also opened my eyes to a different approach to Physiotherapy, shaping how I assess, treat, and connect with patients today. That experience not only strengthened me as a clinician, but also as a person.

What is your area of expertise

My main areas of expertise include sports injury management and performance rehabilitation, manual therapy and joint mobilization, dry needling and corrective exercises, geriatric syndrome assessment and management, and functional and post-operative rehabilitation. These are the areas where I have built strong clinical experience and continue to refine my skills.

That said, I do not limit myself to just these. I believe that Physiotherapy is a field where learning never stops. I make it a point to continually expand my knowledge, learn new techniques, and apply new skills whenever possible. If there is an opportunity to grow—whether through training, experience, or collaboration—I take it, knowing that every new skill allows me to provide better care for my patients.

What is the most fulfilling part of your job

The most fulfilling part of my job is witnessing my clients regain what they once thought they had lost — their movement, independence, and confidence. Seeing them walk out of the facility pain-free, stronger, and able to return to their daily lives is incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me that Physiotherapy is not just about treatment, but also about restoring quality of life. Moreover, I feel grateful to be part of that journey whenever someone chooses to take the first step toward recovery.
