Background in Physiotherapy
I am a licensed physiotherapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduate with a passion for helping people move better, recover from injuries, and achieve their highest attainable functional capability. My experience includes musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation, designing personalized plans of care in coordination with my patients to achieve their goals.
Interests/Areas of Expertise
I have a strong interest in musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy, particularly in helping active individuals recover from injuries and return to the activities they enjoy. I also enjoy designing personalized rehabilitation and exercise programs that improve performance, prevent future injuries, and support long-term health.
Most Fulfilling Part of the Job
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing my patients regain their confidence and return to doing what they love without pain or limitations. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in their quality of life is what motivates me every day. I also get to learn the differences of each individual/patients that I encounter, making me understand them and help them achieve their established goals.
Personal Interests
Outside of work in Prohealth, I also teach undergraduate students to become future physiotherapists. Further, I also enjoy strength training, running, learning new sports, and staying active, which helps me better understand the challenges my patients face during recovery. I also love traveling and continuously learning new skills to grow both personally and professionally.
