Background in physiotherapy
I am a Licensed Physiotherapist with a background in assessing and managing different musculoskeletal and neurological conditions across different populations. I use evidence-based exercise, manual therapy, and personalised treatment plans to help clients improve function and quality of movement. I’ve worked with both amateur and professional athletes in sports such as golf, jiu jitsu, and others. I also provided injury prevention and management for pediatric athletes involved in gymnastics and ballet. I am also someone who enjoys trying out different practices and often reads research for the benefit of my clients/patients.
Interests/Areas of expertise
I am deeply interested in different evidence-based practices as well as continuous learning to enhance my clinical skills and patient care. I am also someone who values wellbeing and mindfulness, and I incorporate these values into my patient care for a holistic approach. Personally, I enjoy working out and running, which helps my understanding of movement performance.
My main clinical areas of expertise are musculoskeletal rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation for individuals of varied lifestyles, from sedentary to athletic in different populations.
Most fulfilling part of the job
For me, the most fulfilling part of my work as a PT is helping patients recognize and even surpass their own potential. I am someone who values continuous professional development through research, practice, and collaboration with others. To be part of my patient’s journey and learn from them along the way is something that I always look forward to.
